Removal from Watford to Tiverton, Devon
We recently moved a middle aged couple from the Home Counties to a cottage in Tiverton, Devon. They were concerned about the access up to the house as it was a very narrow lane that had a small bridge over a brook. We discussed their move in detail and explained that we use a larger vehicle for the initial stage of the move to Devon. For the final stage we would transfer the belongings into a smaller vehicle and ferry the items to their new home.
As they were moving to a much smaller rural property they wanted to make arrangements for unwanted furniture and household items to be stored whilst they decided what to do with them.
We completed a full removal, packing and storage service for this client. The packing and unpacking service made a big difference to the whole removal process as it allowed the couple to enjoy their new start in the West Country without the stress of having to manage the move themselves.
Grade II Listed Manor House Removals & Storage
We completed this project for a prestigious local Grade II listed building. In total we had to take down and store 16 chandeliers in specially made wooden crates. We also took into store fine arts, antique furniture and prints whilst the home underwent extensive refurbishment works. Once the building and renovation works were completed we returned all items from store.
Domestic Removals Exeter to Lyme Regis
During the summer of 2019, we receive a call from a very upset customer. They had been let down on the morning of their move as the removal company did not have an appropriate vehicle. We were able to undertake the move at short notice. The clients were extremely happy with the service that we offered and very thankful for stepping in at the final hour.
Local house move
We recently received a removals enquiry from a lady moving from a 2 bedroom property to a 3 bedroom house. The move itself was straight-forward, however there was a large collection of china plates and glass ornaments. The client was concerned about the potential damages with these fragile items. We recommended that she had the full pack and unpack service so that we could be fully confident against any damages. We are pleased to say the move was successful, we competed the move and had the boxes unpacked on time. The desks and wardrobes were assembled for the clothing and the kettle ready for teas and coffees. We are pleased to report that there were no breakages, accept the packet of biscuits that we dropped when sharing!
